This Privacy Policy describes how Dakota Group, LLC, dba Fmcsa.com and its affiliates (“Dakota Group, LLC” or “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information obtained through our website (Fmcsa.com), Services (compliance filing assistance for trucking/logistics businesses), mobile applications, phone, email, mail, or other interactions (collectively the “Website” and “Services.)  

By using the Website or Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Website and Services. By continuing to use the Website and Services, you accept this Privacy Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy, and material changes will be posted here with the updated effective date. Program Descriptions

We will send email(s) or text message notifications only after the user has requested such notifications and provided contact information, granting the Company permission. We may also send you transactional notifications related to transactions, service requests, updates, or compliance reminders.

Cost

We do not charge fees for sending periodic reminders and notifications described above. However, your mobile carrier may charge message and data rates for text/sms messages.

Message and Data Rates

Message & data rates may apply. The frequency of delivery of messages may occur on a per-transaction (service purchase/confirmation) basis or on a monthly basis in case of reminders/notifications sent to subscribed users. Recurring messages may be sent. Some seasonal services may require additional messages delivered, and/or interaction with a reply-back may result in further messaging from our servers. Message and data rates may apply in all instances of these communications.

How to opt out of receiving texts and emails

To stop receiving text messages, reply “STOP”, “END”, “STOPALL”, “STOP ALL”, “QUIT”, or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to a message received from us. You may also contact us by calling +1 (800) 500-9295 to speak with a support center representative. All requests are processed within 30 days. Remember to only reply with the keyword in the examples above, and without additional words, to successfully unsubscribe from text messages.
