Unified Carrier Registration Details:

  • Registration for the 2025 UCR Registration year opened on October 1st, 2024, at 8:00 AM EDT and concluded December 31, 2024.
  • Pricing for for UCR is based on the number of trucks operating under a USDOT number plus a service fee and can be found here.
  • If you missed the required UCR filing period, you are still obligated to file and submit even if they are late.

Who is Required to File?

The Unified Carrier Registration is a federal mandate per Code of Federal Regulations Title 49 Section 367. An annual payment for the UCR is required for all companies with an active U.S. DOT number that are engaged in interstate commerce and/or transporting goods that originate or have a destination outside of the company base state.

NOTE: Registration for the 2024 registration year (except for state audit purposes) ended on December 31, 2023.
